Riichiro Oda facilitated Systems Thinking Workshop in Bandung

Riichiro Oda from Change Agent of Japan facilitated two days workshop on Application of Systems Thinking for Planning. The main topics of the workshop was: Systems Archetypes and Communicating Complex Systems. This workshop is the third workshop facilitated by Riichiro Oda. His two previous workshop were: Introduction to Systems Thinking (April 2008), Application of Systems Thinking and Innovation Diffusion Theory for Spreading Biodigester Strategies (April 2009).

Like the previous workshop, this workshop was also attended by KAIL and YPBB staff, especially those who use systems thinking in their work. YPBB and KAIL has long history of collaborative work in applying systems thinking for planning. Two of the most intensive ones are: the biodigester project in Lembang (since 2008) and the sustainable development blue print project in Papua (since 2009).

Riichiro Oda and Junko Edahiro had committed to come to Indonesia each year as their effort for voluntary carbon offsetting. Besides their personal learning goals, they hopes that their visit in Indonesia can contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation in this country.
